I know he'll regret the wheelie and speeding away part. But flipping the bird isn't illegle.Throwing the finger(by itself) violates NO law.

As far as I'm concerned, that story had a happy ending. Idiot.

"Throwing the finger(by itself) violates NO law."

Understood that didn't happen in Wisconsin, but here in Wisconsin bird flipping can get you a disorderly conduct charge. Anything designed or intended to elicit a negative response from someone can get you one.

In Maryland I believe it falls under the Agressive Driving / "Road Rage" violations.

In the People's Republic of Massachusetts, you can't flip off a cop.

Here in Iowa, just a couple weeks ago, a gal lane changed in front of an officer and she turned around and flicked him off. He just followed her to her destination and ticketed her for it (I don't remember what the official charge was); I'll bet she was happy about that.

It's unbright.

It is not, per se, illegal in these states to thrust a butter knife into a wall outlet.

It's just stupid.

A subset, ostensibly growing, of the population seem to excel at it.

We will be, from Gotham, augmenting their number with kids who seem to be incapable of discerning the "action:consequence" relationship of walking through a busy street on dark nights.

It's a shame the govt doesn't do recalls on some folks.

Well, with my own eyes i watched judge Caprio here in Rhode Island traffic court dismiss the charge.I said DISMISS as no infraction. It isn't illegle. At least we're free, and a liberal democratic state.

see also the 1st amendment.

When I ride my X1 baggers flip me off with regularity, the same goes for sportsters when I'm running errands on my Burgman.

I ignore them.

Back in 1971 as a freshman in H.S. I flipped off a senior jock and he told me if I did it again he'd break it............... its still crooked to this day.

In Germany certain hand gestures while driving will get you cited.

Years ago when driving my log truck down the highway, a car with a couple of young guys passed me and as they got infront of me, the driver gives me the finger. Well, Im used to getting the finger so it dont bother me none. I wave back politley. The driver see's this and becomes irrate because he thinks Im confused. He puts his whole head and arm out the window and, looking back, gives me the finger again...but this time, he catches his wheels in the slush on the road side, does a couple of 360's infront of me and parks ass first in the ditch. I stop my rig about 50 feet past them as these units dont stop like a Cyclone. I walk back to see if they are ok. The driver looks sheepish at me. I say " Do I know you??" The kid says "I dont think so" I say, "Then how come you were wavin at me??" "Uhhhh, uhhhh, can you pull me out?" I say "sure, when Im commin back empty(3 hours) as I cant back that biggass unit up very well." AS I walked back to my truck I looked up and said "Whaddya know. There is a Jebus after all."

You guys are begging me to tell the story about when my dearly departed neighbor, Mr. Paul Castellano, was pulling out of the parking lot of the Key Foods grocery store on Hylan Boulevard and the two young punks flipped him off.

What stupid in Des Moines is REALLY STUPID on 125th Street in Harlem or on Staten Island.

If you are wanting to practice however . . . now would be a good time. We just had a major mob bust and two of the guys on the block still aren't back yet . . . I'm still picking up their newspapers.

Big Paul

It's nearly always unwise to act stupid.

(I offer my "parachute jump from atop a Buick Vista Cruiser" as proof)

A moving Buick Vista Cruiser? That's a better plan. That way you get both broken ankles *and* skin abrasions. :>; )

Just think, if they had had video cameras back in the day like they do now we could all be historical figures on YouTube.

Nice to see my hometown (West Islip) in the news, makes me glad I moved. Although Court's comments make hungry for a steak (Spark's maybe).

If you can't wheelie and flip the bird at the same time, you get no style points.

In Georgia the bird finger can net you a "road rage" charge. I was told that the driver can be reported and cops will serve a warrent..?????

Sparks is great. Blake can attest to a rather interesting story about Tao as well. The place usually takes over a month to get reservations.

For some folks they will remove from from a table and wait on you hand and foot.

It was . . . . . er, an "interesting" evening.
