Sooo. my boss, owner of the Plumbing company where I hang my hat calls me in to state that with the current rise in gas prices showing no end in sight he would like to re-evaluate how me make use of our fleet of "jobbing " vans. He asks me to have on his desk in 2 hrs a list of all active vehicles with persons currently assigned to them, locations of these employees homes and commute distances, GPS printouts for all vehicles dating back to start of year, and all after hours work emergency or scheduled for the same period involving use of said vehicles. Imac and I go right to work printing reports and spreadsheets which i then collate in chronological order, highlight all points of interest and put in a shiny new binder for his review as per request. I..................should know better at this point but in to his office I went expecting a quick exit with a muffled "yeah thanks" trailing my heels. What I got instead was........."OK.......um yes..........hmmm....Do you think you can reverse it so it is arranged it so the dates are reversed? I would rather track backwards." I'm laughing to myself while flashing the smile of a hopeless soul at him and started reversing the paperwork right there in front of him. He then says "Why are you doing this, delegate it to somebody." to which I replied "I would but I do not have anyone to give it to but myself and you've already seen how that turns out, so I had better do it myself!" He should really see a doctor about that Eye Twitch thing. Come to think about it he does not make these requests of me that often. Hmmmmm....  | ||
