Perhaps you've read about the Songdog Ranch in magazines or heard someone mention it or, if you're in SoCal, have been to one of their rallies? Probably haven't heard about it in a while. Well, you're in for a treat.

quote:

For those that have been here before, we are having a reunion BBQ on the first Saturday in May. This will be the first anual last supper. Reservation are required.

They have had a fine tradition since 1985 of hosting rallies 2 and 3 times a year for motorcycle campers featuring an all-you-can-eat tri-tip BBQ dinner with all the trimmings, a cozy campfire and an evening serenade by a local acoustic band. Well, they used to until Santa Barbara county closed them down for alleged land use violations a few years ago.

So, they must have sorted it out and are starting a new tradition, what they call a "First Annual Last Supper." Mmmm, hot Tri-Tips and cold beer. This sounds like fun... all over again.

Sparky, that sounds great, but unfortunately I can't be there on May 3rd, because on May 4th it's the SCAB ride and we're going to Joshua Tree. I was kind of hoping to see you out there.

The wife just won't put up with my disappearance on both days.
