back brakes leaking from top of back brake lever where electrical connection goes into it

I think you are talking about a leak where the brake switch hose goes into (gazinto) the banjo bolt of the brake line on top of the master cylinder?

If so, try replacing the copper ring crush washers on top of and below the banjo bolt. The factory service manual (FSM) warns that if the washers are the earlier silver colored ones, they are not compatible with DOT 4 brake fluid. So check with the dealer for the correct copper washers. Leaks are one thing, but losing brake power at the wrong time can be deadly.

And, if you don't have a FSM and you take pride in working on your bike, by all means, invest in a FSM for goodness sake. : )
