Author Message   Toona Posted on Tuesday, April 08, 2008 - 07:17 pm:        So I call my wife and say, "I gotta run to the bank". No biggie. It's 60 degrees out today, so I jump on the Buell and I'm off. 12 miles SOUTH the the bank, easy peasy. On the way back, I "just happen" to do the first part of the Reservoir Ride loop that brings me out at the interstate interchange from the NORTH. Guess who's sitting at the stop sign as I go by??? Yep, my wife and 2 kiddo's in the car. I come down to the traffic light and she's honking the horn, I just wave. She follows me home and her first words were "I thought you were going to the bank". I did, I respond. Then I had to explain how I made it to the bank, down thru Sinking Valley and beat her back to the intersection when she started out in Altoona. What are you doing Fri/Sat before Memorial Day? The full "Res Ride" will be held again that weekend. Small world indeed! Too bad you weren't coming today. I played hooky from work because the place has been a pressure cooker lately and I am about ready to pop. I will be in Tecumseh on Saturday with our U-12 soccer team for a game, though. I'm not sure what we have going on Fri/Sat before Memorial Day, but I will check with the boss. I'd like to make that trip if I can. I will watch the Storm Fronts thread and let you know there. Thanks for the heads up.
