I became a certified (Certifiable??) MSF Instructor back in 1990 and pretty much kept up my certification for many years up to the new BRC era (the kindler, gentler MSF curriculum) up until I started working for Morgan Stanley. Thanks to their INSANE working hours (7 days a week, phone calls at any time of the day, night, weekend, holidays or even vacation time) I had let my certification lapse.

In order to get recertified, I have to go through Boot Camp (aka "The Rider Coach Prep") again. Two four day weekends of learning the philosophy behind the new curriculum, peer teaching, and then actual teaching. Just got my "Pre-course Assignment" back and passed with flying colors. The course itself begins Thursday.

Wish me luck!
