I've got a 00M2 with close to 64,000 miles on it. It is not pretty (depending on who you ask). It's painted with Harley Texture Black (Flat black, but with a rougher texture). It's got a Corbin seat, Mikuni 42, Force Intake, S3T bars, Tach, Complete top end rebuild 10,000 miles ago. New front tire (Avon Azaro ST). Rear has a little life left (Avon as well). Ventura rack system with the big bag and sport rack.

Considering that you can find really nice S2s and S1s for around $4500 to $5000 I'm wondering if I could even get $3000 for my M2.

Any constructive opinions would be appreciated. Please save the smart ass comments and preaching for another topic. I've been through a lot with this bike and I'm just plain tired.

Thanks in advance.

Don,
Update your profile or post a current pic of the bike. Your description does not match the profile pic.
For someone looking for parts the 64k on the engine might cause someone looking for an engine to pause a bit.

Does your Corbin seat have the passenger backrest?

The market is very soft right now. Someone may try to offer you $2,000 for it just to see how tired you really are. I'm not selling either of my bikes right now due to the market conditions.

Mike,
Thanks for the input. Looks like my problem is solved. A buddy of mine wants it and we are working a deal that will help both of us. It's going to be tough to see her go, but I'm worn out.

Selling to a friend who already knows the bike is always a good way to go. You're there to answer any questions, he's there to let you ride it once in awhile.

Are you planning to get another bike? Just curious.

That and she's going to someone who knows and wants her.

I will be picking up a CB1000 to ride for now. Buddy of mine just bought a V-Strom and needed space in the garage so he's giving me a really good deal.

I'm heading to Korea in May 04 so I don't want to buy something new until I get back.

Take care over there. Lots of background activity in that region.
Ride safe, but still have some fun.
