Learned that the hard way yesterday. I was finely able to get my bike in for service, only a miles over.

Knowing it was going to rain I bought a DryRider Suit from a local store. Took off and sure enough it started raining about 20 miles into the trip. So I pull over and open the brand new bag was marked LARGE only to find a suit that's EXTRA SMALL!! Now I'm not THAT big but no way could I get that suit on! 120 miles in a cold rain is NOT a good ride At ALL...

BUT I guess I can really say I am A BadWeatherBiker now! Heck even the guys at the H-D shop thought I was hard core...or just nuts!

isn't nothing sacred anymore. probably a price difference on something and they changed it out. that's usually what happens.

Froggy - I treat all my gear once every six months with spray waterproofing from the camping section of WalMart. Even my Buell Adventure pants are damn near waterproof now : )

Neil - brand new, I got it a few days before badness : )

Ratbuell - I am going to have to try that. It only gets in cause of the zipper.

Froggy - I washed my 'stich with some NikWax after it had about 8,000 miles on it and started leaking in the crotch. I sealed the seams in the crotch with some sort of silicone stuff that I got from Aerostich. It worked great - I rode around in the rain at March Badness and it didn't leak at all.

I just bought a two piece day glow yellow rain suit from Tractor Supply for $35. The bottoms are like overalls. Test will come soon enough to see if it will work, but I am really digging the day glow yellow!!

Shoulda gone with Spike's trash bag solution.

He looked like Darth Teletubby.

Well... the tractor supply suit turned out to not be workable.... The trouser bib was great in the front, but not in the back, plus someone thought it a good idea to have a non-sealable fly...

Dang the luck!!
