Yeah, I know it's not Buell related, but my trusty R1100GS, that has been to various parts of the world with me, has been sold and now there's a replacement in the shed.
I'm not someone who normally gets attached to motorcycles (I've owned more than 50 of them) but it was sad seeing this one get ridden away. There's a lot of good memories attached to that bike.

Congrats Peter! Is that your new neighborhood? And an American full-size van?

Peter,

Do you know if there are any BMW motorcycle message boards of the quality of BadWeb? I'm seriously considering buying a used R1150RT-P over the winter and want to lurk around for a while. I spent a week on a 1999 R1150RT-P demo bike and think about it every time I sit on overweight, archaic Electra Glide. Can't get it out of my mind.

Congratulations Peter: Children have to know that pavement is not the natural border between heaven and earth.
Amazing that your new bike looks so more modern than your old one, while there is in fact not much changed. Well, I shall try to make no sour comments about the big toolbox in relation with your new bike. Greetings for the family.

Aaron,
Thanks mate. That is indeed the new burg. Here's a pic.
That American van is living on borrowed time. It has a loud system and is started early each morning, which wakes up my kids......

S1joel,
I frequent http://www.advrider.com a bit. There are quite a few references to the 'RT site' on there, but I've never tried to find it.

Hans,
I should have taken a pic before I put the box on, huh.....
The new bike is nicer to ride than the old one :)
