I just rolled over 45,000 miles and was curious about the kind of miles others have put on their Buell bikes...kind of wishing that I might be able to get another 45,000 out of it, after all it is paid off, why spent the bucks just yet???

Oh, another 45k on one Buell is a piece of cake. Let's look at what's in my stable:
93k on a 96 S1,
54k+ on a 98 S3, and
50k on a 03XB9R.

Periodic maintenance is the key to keeping these long termers running sharp. Having a good dealer helps too!

Never leave the garage without a once-over. Have learned what I can about doing stuff myself, better half does rest, what we can't local bike shop (not HD) does.

Local dealers not real keen on Buell's - have never taken bike there for work. Have yet to check out the stand-alone Buell shop in Orlando, but mean to soon.

Hopefully, I can achieve what you have.
