For those of you that are South Park fans, I hope you caught last night episode titled "Major Boobage"

They spoofed the 1981 movie classic "Heavy Metal"

IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!

EDIT: They have posted it online, but their servers are getting hammered right now

very good episode to be sure......

however,"britney's new look" last week was quite the laff fest as well.

it is good to know that there are some other highly cultured webbers who appreciate fine entertainment combined with social commentary................

It is a curious state of mind that we are all in.....500 channels available and what do we watch?! Pervs and boobage! It hasn't changed for me since I was 13!

I do enjoy TV!

South Part is one of my guilty pleasures. I hate to admit I watch it because it can be juvenile, vile, sophomoric and down right vulgar. But it's also one of the funniest shows on TV.

Great satire with a real bite. Everyone in the house watches it; even my 13 year old son watches it. It's not really age appropriate for him but he's a bit of a wild man so I gave up trying to stop him.

I missed S.P. last night but saw the Brittany episode last week. For a real laugh think "Snuke".

As topical as they are, I'm rather dissapointed that they didn't open the season somehow spoofing/lambasting the writers strike...

I like the Family Guy simply for the fact you can tell the writers are about my age and use a lot of 70's and 80's references.

The other night Peter and Lois take Meg to see the college dean. Dean makes a reference to Meg's name and Peter says, yeah I wanted to call her twiggy, you know, biditty-biditty-biditty. LMAO! The wife asked what was so funny, I swear I think she was a ferel child. I sometimes wonder if her village still misses her.

...and HOPE TO GOD she doesn't read this

I will be checking out that link later, I'd love to see the Heavy Metal spoof.

i miss SouthPark. i just cant bring myself to subscribe to the Toon channel.
it sucks it is not on the basic list of channels.
its strange that the best entertainment are cartoons. eg: Simpsons, Family Guy, Southpark. i also like Futurama, American Dad
Other than news & sports there's nothing on.

"Heavy Metal" YES! I recognized that right away. I wonder how many others picked that up.

Ted, don't know how the channel listings are north of the border but I pick up South Park on Comedy Central.

There's a strip mall area in Lexington, Ky. called South Park, there long before the cartoon but now I laugh every time I see the sign.

To be honest, the only shows I have set to record "all of season" on my DVR are Family Guy, American Dad, South Park, Reno 911, and The Shield.

And yes, the "Snuke" episode was one of my favorites! I love how Cartman slinks out of his desk at the beginning!

Finally saw the Major Boobage episode last night. it was vulgar, rude, disgusting and I just about fell off the couch laughing. That maybe be the funniest South Park of them all.

I was discussing this episode with a co-worker, and we concluded that there seems to be a hidden message against the censors. Notice boobs w/nipples are EVERYWHERE, except on the woman.

I thought I saw the hint of nipples on her when she was driving the car. I could be mistaken though.

Either way, I laughed my arse off.

When Cartman was hiding the cat in his attic, did anyone catch the Diary of Ann Frank reference?

What is the reference to "cheesing"? Even though I grew up in the 70's, I never did the drug thing. Some times some of the drug references are lost on me.

Truth is, I kinda identify with Cartman when it comes to hippies....lol

cheesing= Meth.

Notice the reference to the tiger enclosure at the zoo, and grinding their teeth.

Classic.
