In looking at the paddle board with it's single-sided latch, I'm wondering about the safety and strength when used as a backrest.

How much force will this thing actually support? If I'm forced to make a quick takeoff, and my 120-lb passenger falls back against it, is there a danger of breakage and spilled passenger?

thanks and regards,

Marty

Chat to the guys in big bad and dirty, but of all the customers that I have riding them, none of them have had a passenger fall off the back of the bike.

You're good. My wife has been fine on the back of mine. And she's fallen asleep back there quite a few times. Though I do have a top case/rack to back her up at times. You'll be good... don't worry.

I wouldn't loose any sleep over the latch.
