We're supposed to get our first significant rain tonight and tomorrow around here...I can't wait - get rid of all that damned salt!

...went out and started up both beasts over the weekend and gave them a once over. I still think the Firebolt needs a new battery, but I got it started and gave it a nice, long warm up from its winter sleep.

Knowing March snowstorms in Denver, we should be able to ride tomorrow afternoon. Gotta love this town. : )

I'm sorry to hear that winter will not end where you live...
I too, got tired of the endless winter, and daily lows of 20 degrees, so I moved back to Phoenix...
Aaaah, yes, 80 degrees on Saturday, brrrr, 60 degrees on Sunday, back in the 70's today and back up in the 80's by the end of the week.
yeppers, I love winter here, I hope it lasts forever! Here, we dread the summer!

Bummer, I was actually hoping for lots of snow today so I could have the day off. Well, our 5-10" turned into maybe 1-2" where I live. Yes it will be nice the rest of the week so TIME TO RIDE.

It was forecasted to be mid 40's today.
I decided to try to take my X1 to work.
I neglected to notice that it was low 20's.
Well I'll just wait til the sun comes up for a bit and then head out.
NOPE.
I got about 4 miles out before I lost feeling in my hands.
I had to chicken out and go back for my car : (

At least the bike started, eh?

Don't you just hate it when you complain about the snow up north and some moron that lives in the south says, 'Heh, it was 65 degrees and sunny today'.

Well... it's getting up to 74 here today. It's a personal policy of mine not to live where the weather can kill me.
