zane, if you go over to the tampa store and talk to scott in service, he's the one you want to talk to about your bike. he used to be a buell mechanic and moved up. he also raced buell. at one point he used to work at jims h-d. i talked to the owners of jims nephew about buells and he does have one. told him about the badweb and whether or not he gets involved or not only time will tell. course you have cyclerama who is one of the sponsors here. pammy and wes own and operate it. they won't be there right now but should be back in town next week by the sounds of it. if nothing else just stop in and say hello and tell them your from the badweb.

Would you make the 100 mile trip to orlando, for great customer service, to deal with a guys that actually ride Buell's,to deal with the only stand alone Buell dealership...AND save yourself a chunk of cash????

Svo1023, Yeah, for an excuse to ride the bike for an afternoon, absolutely. To meet people that "get it", yeah I would. But if I have a break down or don't have the afternoon to drive 100 miles to pick up some little part or other? No, I need to know the dealerships close to me and deal with the ones who'll treat me decent or at least not laugh at me when I say the name Buell...

Hey Zane, I live in Safety Harbor Too...

Fletchers gets it.... JT the sales manager rides and has a few buells he has gorgeous tuber with a full fairing. Tom in sales rides a Uly and has a tuber. Joe and Mike in service have bolts.. There are some other buellers who work there....

They did me right when I wrecked my bike a bit over a year ago.. The thing rides perfect, took 8 months but now that my back is better I can actually enjoy it.... Service is good even though I do most stuff my self.. They do good work so they are usually slammed so if your patient like me it isn't a big deal.... Once new dealership is built they will be able to expand and get more mechanics and bays.. They are packed like sardines in the back..

Parts guys are good never had problem ordering parts. In fact once your in the system I just phone in stuff I need or want..

I know they had a 1125 with a out the door price on it last week or so. they do out the door pricing quite a bit with new bikes.. No BS..

Jim's and fletcher's are like any other close harley dealers... There is a bit of a beef.. I've never had a bad experience from either...

Fletcher's from my Experience is more Buell friendlier than Jim's. IMHO....

Sucks about Tampa harley, Scott used to do custom maps on the dyno for guys with buells. Hoped they replaced him with some one good because that guy was aces with these bikes.. I wonder if he still races..

talked to scott a few weeks ago and right now he doesn't have time for racing. never had service done by jims or fletcher's but fletchers would be the better choice if your going by just walking in experience. jim's never really set right with me when i was looking for a new bike. never wanted to give the bike up for msrp and would give you crap for a trade in. as far as service dept goes i really don't know. but like anything else, some people tend to get better service than other's no matter where you go. if you don't like what they do then you go somewhere else. good luck reguardless.

Zane,

Give Seminole Buell a shot for parts even if they have to ship it to you. You would get the 15% BWB discount (make sure you ask James for it!) which would probably offset the cost of said shipping.

Mike actually went to Daytona to get me a clutch cable when mine broke (I didn't know that until quite a while after I had received it) and also offered to let me use a spare he had until he got the new one.

Great service and well stocked, so no waiting.

Paul
