gettin' the downsize axe after ten years. Kinda tired of the aircraft industry and lookin' for a change. Lookin' at a job or two with UP on the shop floor. Specifically a Locomotive Electronic Technician spot. Any inside info to be had about the position or the company itself. |

SatCom is where it's at bro. Send me or Keith your resume and rate requirements. We'll see what the folks at GD SatCom in Kilgore are willing to do for you. |

Blake, I will pop you one this weekend. It needs a rewrite and update. *as a side note, got the nod to a hiring session/interview with UP next wednesday. Just found out this afternoon. |

Hey if you don't want to leave LR AR. I might be able to get you a job at UP. Aircraft sucks. Up & down every seven to ten years. Other wise Spirit Aerosystems is on a hiring mode. so is all Aircraft in Wichita. If I still had my aircraft shop I'd hire you. I was always posting for a ET. |

I'll be working on the railroad all my live long days. Did the hiring session/interview this morning. I have a conditional job offer at the Jenks facility in NLR. Now to schedule all those pesky pre-hire things like the P-test, physical, medical history, etc. Was told if I get a call between 6-8pm today it means a job offer. I cheated and checked the website. They update things really, really fast. Now I can wait for the call.... p47b, is the meaning of your moniker what I think it is? If this completely falls apart...don not think it will though. I will take you up on the Wichita info. Finding good(read as excellent) aircraft ETs is getting harder these days. The AF does not teach them or learn them of the old ways of doing things. Now turning out box changers and not thinkers. |

Amen to box changers. If you have a heads up on your job, you have it in the bag. If you get to know who Don Harris is, say Hi for me. I think that he might give you a little slack. Email me if you do. I want to know your opinion of him. LOL ;) |

Hey Bryan. Before you decide, you might check into General Dynamics SatCom Technologies here in Kilgore. Would be good to get you down this way. I'd think your skills would fit right in with all the electronic integration that is required for all the military mobile systems they manufacture. I don't see listings for any positions, but would be surprised if they aren't hiring. |

Background checks are complete and favorable. Now to get the physical out of the way this morning. Then wait again for a start date...... |

Blake, Just can't pass up the op to get on with the rr. To many pluses for it in the long run. If this weather gets straightened out this week. Might be making a trip down your way. |

This past blast skipped right over my place. Tossed the small airport about 15 clicks north of me though |
