ok, MBV is about 2 months away and I need some where to rest for a few hours over the weekend weather that be hotel room, some great full Buellers living room, or even a tent in a back yard if I have too. Im looking for suggestions, offerings to a longly Bueller and/or pity on me for waiting so long before making a solid decision about coming. Rest a shore that I'll take the garbage out, walk the dog, Buy "Beverages"  what ever might be needed for the weekend. I missed it last year and I really don"t want to miss it this year. if you don't mind the camping tq, that would be your best bet. seems like the yard is gonna be filled up pretty good. my son, daughter(possibly her boyfriend) and my buddy will be coming up from tampa. derek will be driving, the kids will be riding at this point. are you planning on riding or trailering. | ||

Yeah man, Dont worry if you got a tent. TWO has lots of space and I am sure you will be able to locate a bunk. If not Dalonehga is not far away and has hotels. | ||

Another possibility is Vogel State Park, at the opposite end of Wolfpen Gap Road from TWO (12 miles away). They have no-frills cabins (no TV, no phone) and camping. I've stayed there a couple of times and it's a really nice place to chill out. | ||

Thanks guys. It will be the end of march so it should be pretty warm out. I'm the idea is growing on me. Now off to Dicks to find a small tent!!  | ||

So, is this shower setup like a dormatory with individual stalls or is it like a prison shower in a high school locker room with just a line of shower heads sticking out of the wall? (Yeah, the high school I went to looked a lot like a prison at times.) | ||

Dormitory style. It's a small bathroom, I think just two showers, but if you're an early riser, you'll have no problem taking showers in the morning. Same probably goes for late late at night. I was up at 8:00 each morning, and was alone in the bath house each day. And bring a nice sleeping bag, it did get down to the upper 30's at night last year. | ||

Don't forget your own soap (on a rope) and shampoo, towel, wash clothe, smell good stuff....ect.... | ||

Hay tq freak I meet you a wile back at bike night. Any way as of right now i am planing on leaving early thursday morning I am going to trailer the bike to two Plenty of room so your more than welcome to throw in any gear you want in if your still going to ride up. P.S. i have bin getting a lot of calls about work in the north so i not 100% sure that i will be leaving from ocala. I hope to know more in a week or 2 | ||

if you need to send it, i'm taking the truck and trailer down there to bring gear and if nothing else, at this time it looks like my daughter is looking at moving up to appleton with her boyfriend up to appleton. even thinking about leaving from suches. if nothing else i could ups it back for you to. she even went on line to put an application in up at that store for if nothing else motorclothes but she had been working in the parts dept for the past 3 months. and if not there, there is another store about 45 minutes away that just opened a year or so ago that will have a parts person open by the time she gets up there. but that's two months away and anything can happen by that time. anyhow the offers there if you need someplace to send it. i'll be heading down thursday evening. |
