Author Message   Doerman Posted on Monday, March 10, 2008 - 04:37 pm:        I had the opportunity to do a demo on an XB12STT this weekend. Although I thought I was not in the market since I have an S1, XB9R and an 1125R, I was thoroughly surprised by 2 things: 1) How far the XBs have come in sophistication since I bought the XB9 in 02. Everything about the XBs is just so much better. I think they are sleeper bikes in market somewhat overshadowed by the limelight on the 1125R. 2) The TT is so much more bike than meets the eye. It begs you to WOT and hang off (although I had to restrain myself on the demo ride). I think the TT is just a steering damper away from perfection and my XB9R might be in jeopardy of being traded. Hmm... why do I do these Buell test rides??
