I just crashed my scooter earlier toady.

I'm ok, just a little banged up.

I was heading back to work, from lunch. Swerved to miss a pot hole and hit a patch of gravel. Locked the front and tossed the bike down on its left side. 15-20mph @ impact. Buddy is scratched on the center stand and mirror but ok. I went for a tumble. Buddy did real good in the crash.

MSF day 2:
Don't brake and swerve.

Hopefully I can learn from this.

Don't matter how much you know, if don't you apply it.

Glad you're alright!

I've often noticed that next to large potholes is a heap of gravely crap (that has recently been kicked out of the hole).

I would almost think one might be better off hitting the hole, rather than swerve onto gravel.

My reactions are always to swerve though.

Im just fine, thanks to my gear. Now the scoot looks tuff with rash on both sides.

Thinking back, I wonder if I shoulda hit the pot hole,,,

10 inch wheels,,,

maybe not.
