You know, there's something sort of reasuring about watching videos like this. As I get older, I seem to hear about more and more people being killed or badly injured on motorcycles and I start to think: "Maybe I shouldn't continue to risk it. . . " But then I see videos like this and think that if this is even vaguely representative of the kinds of things that kill or badly injure riders, maybe I shouldn't worry so much. |

I am glad there are idiots out there like those two who are riding over their heads and in a mild turn they lose control... Keeps people like me with a good stock of spare parts for the racebikes! (Message edited by slaughter on March 06, 2008) |

TM nailed it with "douchebag". I love that word, it just seems to sum it all up. And the guy had no gear. Nice sound too, when he hits the pavement. Sounded like a real good face plant. Bravo! |

"That is some of the best squiding I have ever seen, right up until the point where you left the pavement. Every thing before that was dead on squidly, you never wear full protective gear, you never stay in your own lane, you never obey the speed limit, and you never ever leave the pavement." (read it with the intensity of the commander from top gun) |

I just watched that first video again and noticed a few things I hadn't noticed the first time. 1) They're riding on a public road that appears to be heavily traveled at the time. 2) They're approaching 100 mph at times according to the speedo. 3) The road doesn't appear to be well maintained. I stand by my previous post on the topic....Idiots!!!!!
