you wanna work hard, try hanging with an aggressively well-ridden sportbike on a technical road with a 70-hp

Speaking of lazy and under powered, I do enjoy riding my Blast around, specifically because I do have to work hard. It's a lot of fun to wring the thing's neck and know it actually matters if you pick the right moment to shift. You can pretend like you're Rossi, and only be doing 70 mph. : ) At legal speeds, skill matters on a Blast a lot more than it does on a "real" sportbike.

I was actually riding it the other day and came up on this mustang that kept pacing me and acting like he wanted to race. He was a young kid with is g/f beside him. He obviously doesn't know much about bikes. Racing a Blast with a Mustang is like picking a fistfight with your grandmother.

Ok, you guys are really bringing out my nerdy side. Now I'm wondering if I can chase sport bikes with one of these while getting ~65mpg:

I can't believe everyone missed the Honda EVO6! A sport bike with the Valkerie/Goldwing six, sporting an automatic transmission which is very unique. 2 modes of automatic and one mode of 6 speed shifting with buttons or paddles. It was introduced at the Tokyo Bike show earlier.

The EVO6 was featured in the Honda Rider magazine this month. Everybody knows someone who has a Honda and recieves that magazine. It like Fuell is to Bueller's.

"i think the point has been made that a seemingly underpowered, large, heavy motorcycle can still be exhilarating to ride, and can - in the right hands and under the right conditions - hold its own with aggressively ridden sportbikes on a technical road."
Meet the new FXDF with mid pegs, makes it so easy to drop the bike into 3rd, kick back on to the passenger pegs that are almost rear sets and chew the corners with the grace and elegance of a hippo on an ice rink, you should have heard the poor shocked HOGGIEs behind me at the rest stop after the twisties. (the pics never load from home)
