You are a rider because a throbbing V twin vibrating between your legs can make the "boys" happy.

It was pouring at my house this morning, so I had to drive the car in to work. I was so disappointed as the weather man assured me the rain would have cleared by morning.

I hate starting my day off with that disposition.

Riding to work wakes me up like no car does and it's a great start to the day.

I might ride home at lunch and get my bike!!

Hammer, very cool soliloquy on motorcycling.

Iamike, I cannot agree more about the Harley guys having a problem. Last biketoberfest a friend and I stopped at the Cabbage Patch, he on his V-Star and me on my Uly and the first comment from anyone was "Get those pieces of Sh t out of here."

Oh well. I ride every day and it is the best thing next to Surfing 8 foot perfect barrels. The nice thing about riding a motorcycle is 8 foot perfect barrels are once or twice a year, twisties are there every day.

be good,

hammer is way deeper than me.

I wasnt really getting THAT deep, just kinda blown away by how some people judge me because of my bike. I dont like being better than anyone or "one-uping" people.

Basically, I'm tired of the people riding around me judging me. I admit its not the WHOLE community but around here it is the majority.

truthfully, I'm an h-d tech. And its just ignorance from these people. I park my bike around back of the shop because I got tired of people sitting on my bike and wrenching on the fork lock while saying, "is this thing for sale?".

Who wants to come back from lunch to work, only to have several customers come to me for problems with their h-d's, after they insulted the faceless man that just parked his Buell outside and walked into the back without taking off his helmet. They dont even know its me. But so quick to judge me and tell me to my face like I insulted them by driving my crotch rocket onto "their" dealership lot.

Like many have already said, dont bite the hand that feeds.

er....uh.....dont make fun of Buell's, cause he might be your mechanic.

Today in Southern California it was warm and sunny. Cruising Palos Verdes Dr East, you'd think you could reach out and touch Catalina Island. Makes you smile...

It is an old cliche - but:

You will rarely see a motorcycle in a psychologist's parking lot.
