If you didn't watch, man did you miss some balls-to-the-wall riding from Troy Bayliss on the Ducati 1098. He nearly lowsided at least 2x in addition to basically fitting it where it didn't fit, sliding it around on the track, and <edited to remove spoiler-but you gotta watch it!>. Incredible riding! I love it when racing season starts-I'm not an NFL, NBA or NASCAR fan so I'm SOL often (Message edited by neurorider on February 25, 2008) |

Yeah I watched it...great action with Bayliss all over the place in the first race and then Biaggi racing side by side with his teammate in race 2 |

Race two was not as good as race 1. Love the look over the shoulder from Bayliss at Biaggi when he passed him in the last turn. Great racing but I fear WSB will turn it into all the same with weight restrictions and it will be just another NASCAR with drafting the only real way to pass. Joe |

Great racing! It ought to be a great season of racing. How about that when Haga let go of the bars with his throttle hand so he could shake his fist at the guy in front of him? And crashed as a result! I guess he thought the guy would be watching in his rear view mirrors? That is on again at 1100 EST on Sunday, I'm going to watch that again, race one for sure. Jack |

Just watched the supersport race today and it was just as exciting as the superbike races...theres nothing like Yamaha passing a Honda for the win on the last lap |

I'm digging Biagi's riding/racing. Unbelievable how he throws that big 1098 into the turns early well-inside the poor dude in front of him. He seems back to his old self, finally. Good on him. I didn't see Bayliss almost lowside. I saw him run off track and get crossed up a few times. He was surely riding at the limit. |
