Am I the only one who saw this? I can't figure out how to direct link it, or find a picture of it, but go here: http://www.orangecountychoppers.com/occ/onairtheme .html

Go to the last page of "Theme" bikes...the Gander Mountain Dirt bike...that's right, a big v-twin "dirt" bike complete with forward controls!

Closer to a dirt bike than the "motard chopper" I saw in a chopper mag.

I liked the bike they made for Jay Leno and Billy Joel's also.

The bikes with the stretched forks are atrocities.

that episode was on the other night - I thought that the gander bike was the most "ridable" i've seen them build, although alot of their "production bikes" could actually be ridden and enjoyed

I would like to see if that bike could survive off road, for any period of time.

no chrome, it needs the lighter xl/xb motor, and for Chripes sake did they put forward controls on it?!?! wtf, like they have ever ridden off road. And all that camo? really what are you hiding from with it. Make it orange. I need their budget for my next project.

"OCC monstrosity"

You didn't even need the second part. Both words are synonymous.

I don't hate OCC or their customers, though. I think anyone that spends that kind of money on something so stupid is someone I want to do business with someday.

So does OCC!

What you paid 100 large for was an hours worth of advertising. Cheap compared to a Super Bowl commercial! Hell, it's probably cheap compared to any prime time commercial.

Chripes sake did they put forward controls on it?!?! wtf

Nah, it was mid or center controls. Paul Jr. was riding it in some dirt standing up at one point.
It had rear suspension, normal front end geometry, no extra do-dads, no chrome, v-twin... why the hate? it is probably the most rideable "theme" bike they have ever made.

Those are decidedly forwards, pic 4 shows them very clearly, apparently they have rest pegs in the center of the bike though. I will give them +1 for selling it, stepping out side their comfort zone from the loooong stretched necks, but it could have been executed better. It could have been a beast. Its just me, but this seems more the HD off roader

I like it.

Maybe not $100K worth of like, but to me one of the best ones on their web site.

Uh, didn't Buell just come out with the same camo plastics?

I see OCC made a bike for Peavey and Mr. Buell designed a guitar built by Peavey.

You're right, Brian. That Baja Harley is sort of like a cross between a tuber and an Uly.

The builder/owner/rider likes it too.
