Looks like they are doing Knight Rider again ( I know Old News)
They did the Dukes of Hazzard again....
And Played out SWAT and Starsky & Hutch...

So what 70's / 80's Series would you like to see get redone?
I am voting for Gilligans Island with Jessica Alba to play Mary Anne, Rose McGowan as Ginger. And a distinct VETO to any appearance of Johnny Knoxville or Steve-O

Hawaii 5-O might make a good one, with all the police type shows on now.
Then all the kids today would know what they're saying when they call cops "5-O"

The A-Team would be cool to see, but maybe this time someone could actually get hit by a bullet.
CHiPs might be a good one too.

were there any good shows from the 80's? They all seemed to have that Quitche factor ramped up. I suppose that is why the tv was always on MTV as a default. say why dont they bring back the original MTV? With the **um gasp** VIDEOS. forget the damn reality programming. Now the writers are off strike I bet we get a Magnum P-I redeux.

Battle star galatica. I am gonna say the new version is far superior to the 70 something version. They also redid Flash Gordon which I don't care for, the 70's version is better.

Don't like remakes - I'd rather watch the originals.

Like riding a Yamaha 650 instead of a Bonneville. It might be a better bike - just doesn't feel good being on a copy.

i think either the "greatest american hero" or macgeyver. with todays special effects those would be cool shows.

or i know they did 3 movies but a mad max series would be cool too with all the sweet cars and bikes now.

+1 on that.

Twilight zone, Night gallery, and Night stalker come to mind. Hawaii 5-0 could be cool to.

Little House on the Prairie

Remember the scene in the opening episode where Laura tumbled down a hill?
That was shot in Gardner Canyon, about 40 mi. south of Tucson. I think about that show every time I go mt. biking there. One of the trails runs right along the ridge that she fell down.

Imagine the morality issues for the waltons now - ribbed condoms or plain.

+1 for CHiPs/A-Team

I would love to see a new Chips where future "Ponch" is run off the road by a soccer mom on a cell phone in a SUV.

As for the A-Team who could replace Mr. T? I pity the fool who thinks he could replace T

...and I want all of them to have cameos from the original actors (those that are still around anyway). Maybe present Ponch can get run off the road by past Ponch snacking on a burrito or somethin'. Like Starsky and Hutch making an appearance in the new flick.

Ferris, I was going to comment about how you never left the eighties but I doubt you even remember them. That's cool though, glad to see someone interested in a little history, even if it is the old boob tube.

I remember in the early 90's I swore I'd always keep up on the music scene...the last CD I bought was a 80's classic hits. The 80's were just a kick a$$ decade for music and television.

Ft bstrd,

Oh hell yeah! I almost forgot about AIRWOLF. Now that was a sweet show. Remember when they would fly the chopper really high and everything would frost over inside the cockpit? As an 8 year old kid, I thought that was amazing.
