A buddy of mine and myself rode out there a few months ago. If you have never been I would suggest that you ride thru the Dragon very slowley the firest time, try to get a feel for the rythm of the road and get used to the turns. What I found to be disturbing was the number of people that crash. The turns are just so tight that is is difficult to comprehend at first. At least for me. Youre experience may be very different. Good luck, have a great time and be carefull. | ||

Thanks all, been there before, I use the dragon to scuff the tires in.Aint worried about cops. The first time I went over it in my pickup/trailer I knew she was a nasty bitch and treated her as such. US 64 and the Cherahola Skyway are as exciting, safer, and faster and when you're done you've actually gone somewhere. I was contemplating a scenic rout to some Atlanta tittie bars this go-round.  | ||

Ride the Dragon for the joy of having a fun road...and at 90%. Slaying the dragon simply means riding it without falling off. If you fall down, consider yourself a dork. It has killed the inexperienced and the experienced alike, and destroyed plenty of motorcycles of those who think it's a race track. For those who just ride it within their limits, it's a beautiful ride. | ||

Yea, we came upon a guy that hit 2 sign with his body...took the corner too hot on a firebolt. Watched them lifelight his butt out  Just beeee careful, and watch those decreasing radius corners!! Frank | ||
