I know that they have that technical question in the Fuell magazine. And I suspect my question will get answered right after I get called by the lady from Romper Room.... So Blatant rampant technical question. I NEED to raise my CityX. I am planning on doing the front fork springs from the XB12sTT, and the new steering neck off-set from the 2008 Uly. I still need to elevate the rear end. Will I be able to use a stock Buell shock to create that inch of lift? (while keeping the CityX swing arm) Or do I have to go after market? Yes I know it is not warrantied, i dont care : | Apologies if this should have gone to KV. Thanks PS Yes I need it, I bottomed out again tonite.

Question on the rear shock. What about the belt system? Will be out of tension if you raise it too much?

How much are you raising it, and inch? Is that going to really do anything?

Another question, you have spent all this time/$ lowering your bike. I know you have said you the Uly is too tall, but what about lowering a Uly a little?

Hey Brian,
Why don't you try asking Randy at Trackside Engineering LLC here in Milwaukee. The company was started by an Engineer from Showa and they have done all of Dan Bilansky's race set-ups. They are also finishing my new suspension. I know that they offer lowering for the Ulysses so they might have a suggestion for you. Here is their website: www.tracksideengineering.com
When are you coming back to Milwaukee? Are you coming for the 25th? Let me know so we can hook up again. Talk to you soon.

As it stands the only way I am making the 25th is if my house sells and I pop a cork on the Bendy and Dirty Midlife crisis tour early. Apparently when I went to Mexico to do the Baja peninsula (www.trailboss.com) I used up all my accrual for the year. : | I would do it all over again, Mexico is always on my winter list now. Thanks for the tip on trackside I will fire them an email.
