If anyone is interested, I'm no longer working at Lancaster H-D/Buell in Willow Street, PA.
It was nice to be able to stick up for the Buell guys and put them to the front of the line in the service department (as it should be) but it's on to bigger and better things.
See you on the road,
Steve Ford

Hey, we've been there, I think! If I thinking right, Thats were Jerry got his Slingbag for test riding a Buell. There was an English accented gentleman there that was really friendly.

Steve,

Is that the same one you were at when we stopped to see you at E. Stroudsberg? I though your boss was kind of a jerk when he came out and yelled at you to do something while you were talking to us in the parking lot. If we would have been customers it didn't look good.

Good luck on your next venture.

Nah, that was Schochs in the Poconos, which I enjoyed working at and then stupidly moved.
Boy, that was years ago, good memory!
There's always somebody trying to get their power jollies at motorcycle shops, that's for sure. Seems kind of ridiculous considering it's a fun sport, not national security.

Steve you were the main reason that I brought my XB to Lancaster for service.... Where are you headed?

Best of luck to you regardless!

Hey, Patrick, nice to hear from you.
My philosophy for the service department was that you want your bike worked on, you want it done quickly, you want it done correctly and you want it priced fairly.
It's a shame that Buell wasn't able to do the dirtbikes and stand alone dealerships. Kind of hoping that was in the works once I saw the Rotax motor.

I'm going back to the Poconos and more than likely end up at Schochs again. I like Buells and Rose Schoch a lot and that's where I consider home.
If I end up back at Schochs, I'll do what I can to ensure that the Buell riders get treated right.
Carol, the English fellow is Raymond Carrington, he's a good guy and is so funny: he has a license plate that reads 1125R and now just has to get the bike to put it on!
