Yea I know these are touring tires although they are Z rated. Anybody ever run these on their Cyclone? The roads in my area for the most part are straight so, I want more milage from my tires.I got over 8000 miles out of my 205s.
Here is some info on them:

If I don't run these I think I may go to the D220s.

I run 36PSI in the front and 40PSI in the rear, and I usually get 12,000 miles from a set of 205s. I change them both at the same time. I don't think I'd want to switch from radials to bias plied tires; I'd be afraid of the handling getting funny. I'm pretty content with 205s, but I've heard some really good things about D220s, from people whose opinion I respect.

12,000 miles from a set??!!!

Hell Im lucky to get that outta my Harleys tires. On the X1 the 207's were good for about 4500 or so & the 205's lasted about 7000.

On my FLHS(another svelte Garbage Wagon), I used to get 14-15,000 miles on ME88s.

The D220's handle well, and *seem* to last longer than the 205's, but they rubber seems to squeal more in cornering than the 205's did. My impressions. I like 'em, but next time it's Metzeler's for me!

I just mounted a set of Bridgestone BT010 on the front and rear.

They appear to be more than I need and hopefully will last longer than 8000km as the old Dunlop D207s did.

I ran 880's on my superglide for a while...lasted a long ass time, but were noisy on certain types of pavement...Other than that GREAT tire!

Try the Avon Azaro 45 and 46 ST tire. Just put them on my XB9S.
