Hey, I went to the Buell website to get my coupon for my free Buell neck gator and there was no coupon or mention of it. I went to the Dealer (Kutter HD, Janesville WI) and Dan gave me one anyway after checking the website himself. I've since returned home and was going to send Buell a note to tell em about it and I can't figure out how. SOoooooooooo, I guess if you want a neck gator (really cool too) you have to convince your dealer. | ||

Just printed my coupon. Dealer is 15 minutes away from my place. Got a beanie the last time. The silkscreen job stank, nice try, but boggins need a patch. I gave it to my son and he loved it. I'll check it out tomorrow and hope to get a freebie, if not, maybe they have a 1125R on the floor to look at. | ||

I have a box of 'em here in Frederick MD. Bring your coupons! The embroidered logo/patch looks nice, might be the same one used on the foldy-ballcaps from last year. I don't want to open one because then I'll want to keep it, and employees aren't allowed to enjoy the swag 'till the customers are done. Grrr. ;) | ||

I like the thread title: Neck Gator. Hey, that could hurt!  My dealer had lots of neck gaitors and the nice lady at the counter unlocked the drawer to get one out for me. Nice neck warmer! Definitely more useful to me than the too-small skull cap and messenger bag. Thanks Buell! The 1125R looked pretty good near the front door. | ||

MY best friend and I got #'s 2 and 3 at Seminole Buell yesterday. And riding home through Ocala was terribley cold but we used them. Purdy warm I tells ya. | ||

Got mine and tried it out last night. I think its a Harley product with a Buell patch because the string thingy with the big bulb on it can only be for a half helmet. Mighty uncomfortable under a full face helmet. | ||

Got mine. Love it. I was using a thick head band/ear warmer around my neck. This covers more neck including mouth if I want, and it's almost as thick. | ||

So you're going to tighten it around your neck? You know its a bad thing to reduce blood flow to your head. I cover my lower face, nose and neck in cold weather. I have a neck gator and a gotex bandanna already. The bandanna is awesome, no air passes through it and its water proof. I ride comfortably in cold and rain with it. Last night I just reversed the gator and it worked but probably will just cut the string off. (Message edited by M2nc on February 03, 2008) | ||

just got one from out daughter(brother inlaw brought it up from tampa) and i'm thinking the same thing about the string. that little know would hurt with a fullface on if you tried to have it high. | ||

My son and I made a 20 mile one way trip to our local dealer to get ours on Sunday. We got there and they had a sign on the door; Closed for the Super Bowl. |
