Buell 20th Anniversary poster is now at the Printer's !!! You can check out the link to the poster in the above post by m2me dated June 23 "curvy road poster".

The cost is $5 each, payment info is as follows:

1) Make check or Money Order out to Brew City BRAG.

2) Address and mail your envelope to

Chris Mckay
10588 W. Cortez Cir. #19
Franklin, WI 53132

3) Indicate how many posters you want, and print the name and address you want the posters shipped to clearly and legibly, and put your post name if applicable so I'll know who you are !!

4) As we get the checks, we'll mail the posters out and I'll post that I received your check and date your poster was mailed out to you.

Can someone post this info on any other sites where there was interest in getting posters ??

Thanks to all our sponsors and John (m2me) for making it possible for the Buell 20th Poster's creation !!!!

PayPal needs a credit card number, or at least a bank account atm card number, or at least it did prior to E-Bay's acquisition of them (they did buy them, didn't they?). I don't know if the club is set up this way, so getting a PayPal account may be too much of a hassle factor. Small club, small account, limited available time of club officers. But who knows it may happen. Problem is the next meeting isn't for a few weeks yet.

Mike, but any of us in the club who already has a paypal setup could do it. Just wait till the money is in & then deposit it into your bank account. EZ enough for everyone.

Obviously you would need to have trust that the person wouldnt take the money & skip town:D

Id volunteer for it if anyone of the powers that be is ok with it. Lot easier than dealing with a mess of checks coming in.

Balls in your court.

I will try to post a link tomorrow to the final poster. I have two PDFs from the printer at work. One is a low res version about 3-4 megs and the other is a high res about 25 megs. Either one would be tough for people who don't have broadband. The poster could arrive by mail faster than trying to download the high res, 25 meg file on a modem!

Anyway, I'll try to figure something out tomorrow. I am wondering if there shouldn't be a separate topic for the ordering and payment info so that it's easy to find and doesn't get lost.

Dyna,

That's cool with me if you want to volunteer setting up a PayPal account. Right now, the "powers that be" are pretty much Chris McKay. I've completed the poster and submitted the files to the printer. All the posters are going to be shipped directly from the printer to Hal's so I'm kind of out of the picture for now.

Its Chris's choice. The account is already set up. All I would need is her ok. The we could start a separate thread & as the payments come in I would alert her as to who paid & their address for shipping. Also would post in the new thread who has paid so far so nobody gets left out that wants a poster.

I think we're trying to make it harder than it is, we've already posted the info for the checks, we received the sponsor checks that way, Dennis is getting checks for the dinner that way, and our Treasurer is comfortable with the routine.

I need to get the address for mailing purposes anyway, most everyone's address is printed clearly on the check. Did I mention I'm an anal accountant and control freak ?? :)

My vote is to continue as we are ??

As for another thread, why ?? This thread is the poster thread, why start another poster thread, not to mention we have more than enough Buell 20th threads as it is ??

I would much rather send my payment to a paypal account. Dyna, can I send it to your account? I trust you will relay the info and payment for me.

Isn't there a percentage discount taken out of PayPal payments to the payee, 3%, 4%, 10%? Granted that's not a lot on a $5 charge, but it is something to be considered. Let's see, if 100 people send $5 to Dyna that's $500 minus 3% for minus $15.
Not meaning to throw ice water on the deal, just giving handling costs for thought.

I'm not trying to be hard about it, but either ALL the checks for posters are coming to me, or going to whoever's paypal, NOT both !!

At this point, (things can change) if you want a poster, follow the instructions above and mail your check and I'll ship the posters !!

If dyna, bulliedan, or whoever wants a vote and if the majority wants the job to go to Dyna, it's all his !! Then I can just enjoy the 20th event and meet everyone coming in !!

Screw it, Im out of this. Try to be helpful & make it easy for people to pay for the damn poster thru paypal..its a 1 minute deal & folks want to get all upset. Having 30-40 or however many checks being sent for a dinner is a little different than having to deal with 70-80-90-100 little checks for $5 each. Paypal is the preferred way to pay for just about everything on the net but if folks want to be stubborn & continue to do it the old fashioned way then so be it.

CJM,
Can I just pick mine up at the 20th? We are hauling the BattleTrax equipment up for Reg so Uke's and Hal's can use it so we will have room to bring them back.
Doesn't matter to me, just let me know.

Chris, I was simply trying to help out. The folks who want to send a check..which BTW if you used paypal I believe would be a very small number...could do so by sending them to you. For paypal they could just do it & when all the money is in, I could either send you a check or direct deposit it into the acct of your choosing. Less work overall for you, but whatever.

Daves, no problem that's cool I'll have yours at the 20th !!

Dyna, I'm not upset honestly, and appreciate your offer !!

I'm just saying if I do it, I keep my own records and keep up with things my way, which isn't the way maybe everyone else does it. And yeah hopefully one day we'll get up to date and do things the right way, I do need to learn it !!

Everythings cool with us !!

Chris,
Forget it. You obviosly are very anal about this and when others try to help you just piss them off and bite the hand held out to shake. At this point I am so angry at your attitude that I really don't want to buy the damn poster anymore.

All this over a $5 poster?

if Chris is in charge, then it's her call (though I need to hold off a week or so on sending out the check)...PayPal would be more convenient from a buyer's perspective, but I don't think it's a big deal.
