Anybody know what the fastener holding the headlight/key switch on the XB lightning is called??? It looks like a torx with a center stud?

I believe that you need a special security torx tool to remove that fastener.

It is available from one of our best sponsors, American Sport Bike.

The part in question is the 16049 Ignition lock removal Torx wrench. $6.85 plus shipping.

put a vice grip on it to get it loose, then you can remove it with a small screwdriver

Thanks guys! I was trying to remove the left headlight mount w/out disconnecting everything but o well. Got it loose w/out too much trouble. Now I know the name of the tool security torx tamper proof (pain in the @#$%) thanks for the replies
