It's not a Buell, so don't kill me. The girl finally got around to buying her own bike - should be a great summer!

2006 Kawasaki Ninja 250R - looks brand freakin' new. Well, it almost is...

I can't wait to ride this thing - I have a feeling I might keep it for myself when she's done with it, lol

Those little beasties are really great bikes.

At Willow Springs this year, they're starting a Spec class for the 250 Ninja. A really great way to start racing (kinda/sorta cheap too!)

They are getting quite a following.

I got one for my GF too. It has a busa sticker on it, so I'm sure it would kick the crap out of all of yours!

always wanted to play with one of those.. my little toy that the girl friend is learning to ride on is a 1994 suzuki dr125se.. older on/off road. it is rather fun to ride too.. light, fun, and makes you think more of throttle control and shift points than the buell. buell is just twist and go,, this you have to try to go on!!! sounds dumb but is fun as hell to see how fast you can go.. just found a nos supertrapp for it too.. cant wait for the snow to clear to try it out..
sure you will love playing on it..

Yeah, the 2008 model is downright gorgeous. If they had come out a year or two ago I woudln't have settled for anything but.

The 250's are neat. First time I rode one I was appaled by the lack of power until you got it up in the "fun zone".
Man, those little buggers sure do rev!

Neat bikes with TONS of aftermarket go fast goodies.

I think it would be fun to take a 250 Ninja with some go fast goodies to Bonneville to see if it could break the 100 mph barrier with a 200+ lb rider.

A real inexpensive way to go racing. Many years ago, my friends and I bought RD 250 Yamahas for local club racing. One set of tires all season, almost no maintenance. How cool is that!

The 2008 has a single very large (as in ugly)exhaust while the earlier ones have dual which I think looks better... The blue is the fastest....

S2, whatever looks advantage the older models had with duals the 08's more than make up for with the modernized bodywork. we saw them today at the ims show. here is the 08 in black with the girlfriend trying it on for size.

Nice ride. My daughter fell in love with a Kawasaki Green '08 Ninja 250 at the IMS show. Luckily I have a few years before she will need a road going bike.

Yeah, I never paid much attention to them until a couple years ago at Americade. They had the then brand new Ninja 650 out and it was a great bike from what I could tell, though I didn't get a chance to ride it.

I did ride a ZX10R and that was just a blast.
