Take a look at this please and maybe some input. I thought at one time someone else on here used this system:

Or any other suggestions to polish up a bike that at one time had been sanded down to 600 grit. I've currently got most of it worked down with 1,000 grit.

gotta go farther than 1000 grit, take it to about 2500, and then hit it with some of this:

I use it on every square inch of my bike, safe for all clearcoats, plastics and metals. Yes, even the clear windscreen.

Here is a thread from August that discusses the problem of polishing the plastic, ( actually the Dupont Surlyn), rather comprehensively.

Enjoy!

Since that post, I have come to rely on The Eastwood Company catalogue for just about any automotive refinishing problem.

Be sure to let us know if you discover a new and better path.

Here is the Surlyn web site just for reference:

I had no idea you could use the nano polish on plastic and the amber wheels.

I have always used it on the already shiny/polished parts with excellent success. However I never had the nerve to try it on the wheels. I hope this is Just what I need to put a good coat on my wheels to protect them against brake dust.

Thanks for the info.

Yeah, I know what it says on the outside of the can, but believe me...

It works for EVERYTHING. I used my baby as a guinea pig and came out sparkly, as you can see.
