I have never been a fan of ticket scalpers, but this is just wrong. Now that all the 100th tickets are sold I found a link to a company here in WI called Connections Tickets. They are selling 100th Anniversary tickets, which were $50, for $250 a piece. What a load of crap...

HD = Hundreds of Dollars

Which is completely stupid anyways. You can still buy single day admission tickets to the events. None will be sold for saturday but it will be a zoo there anyways. The art museum will cost $6, the Harley davidson experience, which is north of summerfest near the old coast guard station is $10
& the summerfest grounds will cost $12.50

Personally I will do certain things thursday & friday & thats it. Might hit water street on saturday but it all depends on the crowds. If it hits the million people mark like some are predicting you wont get near downtown without massive gridlock.

Avoid the whole mess & just hit pilgrim rd bright & early thursday morning & be the first to see the 2004 Harley & Buell models. Test rides all day too.

Yeah I know, I sent Connections Tickets an Email to see what they would pay for my tickets. It may be worth it to just sell them. There is sooooooooooo much going on everywhere else.

As far as Test rides go I read in the Fuell mag that BRAG members get first rides on the new Buells from 8-9 am. Personally I am headding to the Boss Hoss Dealer in Sussex for a demo ride. I would never buy one, but I gotta take that bike for a test ride.

I want to test ride the new sporty & the rumored 103" FI Dyna model.

Maybe they will have the V-Rod bagger there as well?

That's O.K.; ours will be better, 'cause we put our own effort into it.

Court,

I was in Germany ( just for the party )
Eric brought his guitar,
but bummer there was no band

the party was real cool,
I got pised big time , had little to no sleep ( had to sleep in the car because all hotels were full & we had to drive 700 miles ),
and I spend € 150 on drinks,
Had a close look at the gogo girls , met very nice german people
Almost got a Buell tattoo, but my friends were holding me back ( you never now with a dirty needle )

Perfect party…..

I hope yours will be better…..
( I think, it will )

The 30th is a Saturday. With that, and the Rider's Ranch in Waukesha, and the Club-HOG in West Bend, it really seems like they drastically want to limit lakefront and downtown traffic on Saturday night.

I can just see it now, some couple from Utah heading to Pennsylvania to visit relatives they haven't seen in 20 years will pass through Milwaukee on August 30th:
"Martha, I think you were right, maybe we should have turned south in Madison."

well with the 8 million other free things going on in town for that week I ended up selling my 100th Anniversary tickets. All I can say is I wish I would have bought more! Nice profit margin. Much better performance then my 401k ha ha ha

Koz...Good Move. Have a friend with two 100th tickets that is holding out for another week or two and going for the really big bucks.

You are absolutely correct about all the goings on in and around Milwaukee. I am charting out all the activities that I want to go, see and do and none of them involves Harley's gathering at the Summerfest grounds.
