If the Superbowl is ANYTHING like the week 16 game between the Pats and the G-Men, it will be one of the best...........

It'll be a good game, but the Pats will win this one.

I'll still say, the refs sucked in this game : )

Yeah. Just like the Packers were going to win this one(and Dallas before). Go Giants. Nobody saw you coming.

All I can say is wow! That kicker has got some guts after missing the other one from that close. Yes, some questionable calls. Hope they can pull it out of the Pats hands like they did tonight. Pack got robbed!

No sour grapes. It's a fact of the every game. The refs miss some stuff, and seem to make up other stuff. It just happened to be in the Giants favor tonight.

>>>Can't believe the sour grapes.

Ever watched a football game? Ever heard one end without similar comments.

Me? . . . I'm still pissed over the 12 men on the field call from the 1968 Orange Bowl.

I actually watched the game tonight . . . first game I've seen all year and it looked damn cold!

The Pack didn't get robbed at all. Farve f'ed up and tried doing too much like he was doing a couple years ago. The Giants just capitalized on his mistakes and won the game.

By the way . . . . and I say this as a kid who grew up watching Len Dawson and sat through the longest game in football history (damn near as cold as tonight as I recall . . . Christmas Day 1971) there are no teams quite like the Green Bay Packers.

I don't know much about them but it's amazing that Green Bay even HAS a team and since I was a kidlet the words "Green Bay Packers" have pretty much been synonymous with top notch football.

They, like all teams seem to go up and down but it's always a classy outfit.

Congratulations to you guys on a wonderful season.

No matter how much I go on and on about Favre, the guy didn't not come to play this game. He looked scared and frozen the whole time.

McCarthy refuses to practice in the cold, it showed again for the third time this season. Asses kicked against the Bears, Two early fumbles in the weather against the Hawks and now this.

The NY Giants practiced in the cold, they played well in it and deserve this game.

McCarthy practice indoors this past week yes but he did it with Frozen ball to condition the team.

Damnut, They didn't capitalize on Favre. He couldn't get opened recievers like he should have.... Kudo's to NY on that. Hell Jennings wasn't a factor this game at all and as Grant. Driver seemed to be doing the best.

Neither team played well in this cold. Its the 3rd coldest game in history.... nobody play's well in those condition's. This game was a battle right down till the end.

"but he did it with Frozen ball to condition the team."

Frozen balls is what Farve looked to be playing with tonight. There's no home field advantage if the coach refuses to practice in the cold.

Come on John that made no difference. The Packers didn't have a whole lot of cold games this year to get used to. In this cold you don't get used to that. You have to tolerate the best you can and You can't in this temp. All I can say is I've been living and breathing Football every Sunday from 5am till 5pm since the beginning of the season. Its over and I hated to see just what happened but it did.

the best thing that the Giants had going for them tonight is that NOBODY gave them a chance to win! Maybe it will be the same in the super bowl?

from what I've seen this year in football is that there is the New England Patriots and then the rest of the league!

The Patriots are clearly the best team in football right now and really have been all season long!

Ill eat crow, those Giants are damn tough. I think they have a shot against NE, and Ill be pulling for the G-men.

Great game, uncool outcome.

Some of those hits had pieces breaking off of helmets from the impact and the cold. That has to be one of the coolest things I have ever seen in football.

They practice every day in GB...Inside. From October through now. There's plenty of cold days to get used to the conditions. People feared having to play up here when Holmgren was coach..why? He practiced outside and those guys perfomed well in the cold. If you have a team in Green Bay, use the conditions to your favor instead of haveing an even playing field. The Giants pracitced outside this week...they looked pretty damn good tonight.

John,Practice all you want. Favre has mentally been do this a long time. The windchill was -24 you don't get used that no matter how often you practice in it. Wisconsin has not had cold till now. The giants performed well???? John they won by three and looked good??? They won by three and had to fight for it. Like I said you can prepare for cold all you want but the body is never prepared for this.lol No excuses for GB it was a fight to the finish and that all there is to it. I'll be serving it up to the Packer fans again next year.

I don't think the Giants were the underdog in the playoffs. They've been on a roll, especially on the road (10 straight). At the end of this season, I think they were the best team in the NFC and proved it. Hats off to Green Bay. It was as hard a hitting game as I've seen. Burress took a couple of shots but kept getting up. Favre is a great quarterback but he's a gambler(unlike Eli). That last interception was the killer.

"The giants performed well????"

Even though they won by three, they could have won by alot more than that...2 missed fg's an an interception fumble that Tauscher recovered gave us three, it could have been 12 or more. Look at Time of Possession, they had the ball for 40 minutes and held GB to 28 yards rushing!

I didn't see Manning packing his pie hole with heating pads every play. He manned up and beat us with great throws all day.
