Mike, I think it would be ridiculous to fire anyone for a 2 yr old fuzzy shot of a test mule bike. Nothing on that bike that none of us havent already seen in the past.

IF someone actually got canned over that there is only 2 possible ways of identification.

#1. There was only 1 person would rode that bike & nobody else was allowed near the damn thing.

#2. They got ratted out by someone here. I certainly hope thats not the case.

Dyna;
If HD runs a proxy server (I'm guessing they do), I'm sure they can take a look at their log files to find the internal person. There are other ways as well, that would not have anything to do with "ratting out".

I doubt anyone would be posting that from work, but if they were dumb enough to do that then they would deserve to get fired.

Jim_M...Just checked the Kaw site and did not see the brace on the 2003 ZRX1200. Dang, now I have to go back and check it out. Teach me to have a senior moment. LOL

Look at a ZRX1200's frame sometime ... it's actually got a removable section in the downtube on the right, held on by bolts. Looks like they did it to facitlitate engine r&r.

I've gone riding with a guy with a ZRX and swapped bikes. The ZRX is a big bike and you know it when you ride it. It's prolly 100lbs heavier than a typical tuber Buell, noticeably wider too. They don't handle bad for how big they are and the redeeming feature of the bike is the 3-mile wide powerband. But, bottom line, my M2 will out-accelerate it, out-brake it, out-corner it, out-wheelie it, out-stoppie it, handles tremendously better, and feels like a mini-bike by comparison.

"and feels like a mini-bike by comparison."

And that's why it's more fun (IMO)

I have almost as good a time blasting around on my sons' PW50 sliding out the back end as I do on the big Bandit. That's one of the reasons I'm looking at the XB9S (yes, the 12 can go to those who need the power, I figure I can always upgrade if I feel the need)

plus the Rex is two damn quiet...the water jackets deaden a lot of the character in an engine (though I'm sure the EPA disagrees)

Thanks for the link Jim.
Another thing I like about the XB9, in contrast to the ZRX and Bandit is the build up to power being kinda like
ZZZZOOMM
Unlike the Buell getting it right off the idle, kinda like...
BRAPP!!!

that's what I liked about it on my test ride.

Again, my goal is to be a better rider, not a faster one, so the lil lightning fits me perfectly
