There's room for parking vehicles, but it's across a small bridge from the camping area. This is my ROUGH sketch of TWO. And it's been a year, so my memory's probably pretty sketchy.  | ||

Just installed my factory heated grips this morning...I'm running outta crap to do to my bike to keep me preoccupied... brand new set of tires, full luggage plus liners...grr...one of these nights I'm going to pack my bike up in my sleep I just know it. And I don't even know what I'm missing yet! | ||

We're up to 60 on the roll call (spouses included when listed), but there are several groups that are coming and haven't added their names. I'm guessing that adds about another 15-20 people. Wolf Pen Gap looks like a lot of the roads I grew up on out west. And like one of the folks in that linked thread I also prefer the uphill direction. Just as a point of reference, what sort of speeds are some of you hitting or maintaining or averaging in that turn in pic 4? If I make it we're going to have to have a slow ride race to determine who takes up the rear.  | ||

Hey, hope this isn't considered a highjack... I am looking for a set of Pilot Road 2's. I am finding I am out of luck here in DFW and to order them I am looking at 2 weeks plus before they ever reach the vendor and then 5 days to me. I would like a 120/70 17 and a 180/55 17.... Although I am about 90% sure I will be camping, is anyone renting the rooms in the lodge? If yes, does anyone want to rent out one of the beds. I have been thinking it might be nice to go a little civilized for the first trip out. Warning!!!! I snore, fart and belch in my sleep...... Warning!!!! | ||

Anyone have advice on camping gear? I'm gonna need a good tent and sleeping bag that can be easily hauled where the passenger would be. If this weekend goes well my new ride will be an XB9S. |
