Or does it seem that there is a boatload of Buell parts on Ebay lately? Seems people are buying more older Tubers up and tearing them apart for "custom rides". If they only knew how custom the Buell is in stock form. The XB's are catching on now too. Its a shame to see a fine motorcycle bought and torn apart to build a lead sled. |

Nah. It's just one bike. I think every nut, bolt, screw, and washer was listed on eBay. |

A few years ago you could build a half-dozen buells from eBay parts at any given time. The only hard-to-find part was the drivetrain. The Buell chopper kits became popular right around the peak of the American Chopper, Biker Build-Off, Build or Bust, bike show craze. No doubt many of those Buells were sacrificed in vain to people wanting to build their first chopper and getting in way over their heads. You see them come up from time to time on eBay as well. But it's died off or at least leveled out lately. I've noticed S2 parts have become fewer and fewer on eBay in the last year or two. |
