Can anyone recommend a good online photo printing operation for digital photos? I have used Clark Photo, and Wal Mart. Both have good online interfaces, did adequate jobs printing, and turned the job around quickly and conveniently, so they worked fine for christmas cards and snapshots. I have a few more serious prints I want to make now, so I want high quality materials, I ***don't*** want them messing with the exposure or contrast, or cropping anything. Thats what bugged me about the walmart processing... while it was fairly good, they cropped one axis to scale the other (I would rather they have left a blank border) and they "autoexposed" them (meaning that pictures I wanted light and bright became darker). I also want 8x10 (and maybe some larger options). I'm not doing this for money, so it can't be $20 per print professional hand processing. Any suggestions? Blake, feel free to nuke the thread if this violates the non sponsor board rules. I can't see any way this competes in any way with any existing sponsors, and its something of interest to the badweb community, and I certainly don't stand to reap any financial rewards from the discussion. |
