I went to an Advanced Placement conference in Birmingham Al. this week. I stayed with my sister who is an artist in residence at the Historic Sloss Foundry. http://www.slossfurnaces.com/media/html/metal_arts/artists/index.html#julie_ward She made my belt buckle... If you ever get a couple hours in Birmingham Al.be sure to check out the Barber Motorsports Museum. There was only room for about six cars in the parking lot and the museum was so lightly attended and manned, you could sit on most of the bikes.
