Hey friends

I regret that I'm not able to take delivery on my 1125R that I've been waiting for since July 13th . Its finally in this week (on its way to wildfire), if you're looking for one.

My wife and I are OK, but we were involved in a rollover accident with my truck. Needless to say, I'll be taking the 13k I was going to spend on the 1125R and putting it towards a new truck.

We are fortunate to have our lives, let alone being able to walk away with just bruises and a couple of broken bones. My wife sustained a couple of broken fingers, but she's OK otherwise, and I walked away with minor cuts and a bruised shin (Glad that 4WD shifter moved when I hit it). Really a Christmas miracle that the only real losses are material. The Troy FD was awesome and picked up most our Christmas gifts that were spread all over the field.

Here's a couple of photos from the yard on the day after - always wear your seat-belts!!!.

Cab

Axle torn off and was placed in bed by the wrecker:

The truck rolled 3 times, and the cummins diesel was still running. ...man I loved that truck.

I'll be lurking around here still, but I need to take some time in order to heal my mental wounds. I really have nothing to complain about, and I'm happy with the overall outcome.

Go Pack Go; Happy New Year everyone!

Any one you can walk away from is a good one, glad you're ok.

All the gear all the time, works just the same for trucks & cars too.
I wear a belt driving a 40 ton rig.

Gotta love Cummins eh?

Coal - so sorry to hear about your accident. Glad that you and your wife walked away from it. There will be other bikes.

Glad you and your wife are ok. By the time you have saved enough for the bike, there might be some improvements made to them.
And yes, Go Pack Go! Take care.

Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. . . . . . folks involved in those sorts of accidents are rarely typing soon after. Let me echo the others in saying I a glad to hear you and your wife are mostly unscathed.

Take some time . . . .some deep breaths and there will be a Buell ready for you when you are ready.

If you would . . . do me one favor, let me know when you decide to buy the 1125R. . . I want to have the folks at East Troy put and extra warning sticker or two on reminding you which side points up.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery . . .
