Rant begins: WHAT is it with people complaining about HEAT on a motorcycle??? I mean, COME ON PEOPLE, it's an ENGINE with two wheels, a seat and some handlebars. For the love of all that is holy, please tell me it ain't so... It's not just on forums either, at the local hangouts there will be big-bellied, tattooed, beer-swilling so-called "bikers" complaining about the heat coming off their headers, out loud where even the women behind the bar must be laughing at them... DUDE... get a grip. Bikes are hot. Sheeeeshh.... rant ends. Everyone please ignore this. | ||

My Give a Damn is Busted. There was 50-60 mph driving wind today, full rain (4 inches today so far) and I rode to work. The only damn bike in the parking lot. Problem now is that when we're riding we're ALWAYS hitting ice on the Angeles Crest at 6000 feet (going to Newcomb's Ranch) and now we'll be on the road MORE... Always exciting on ice in the mountain twisties - more wild than the tar snake-bite in the summer! | ||
