Hello from AZ, I'm interested in buying a Uly later this year but I'm not sure how good the HD dealer here in Tucson deals with Buell owners. Are you treated good? Do the technicians have good knowledge of these bikes? Thanks and happy new year!

I have never had my bike touched by the Tucson dealer. I am down there a few times a year, and I have stopped by. They do not seem interested at all in Buells.

Now this may have changed with the move, but I doubt it.

In all my years heading to Tucson I have only ever seen one buell on the road. Kind of sad in my eyes.

Only place to buy here in tucson, lets see....both times brought bike home with flat tires, no suspension set up at all, had to swap my battery out before i could leave because it was dead. Order whatever maintanence items you need about a week or two before you need them, and buy spares of belts pegs from sponsors on here. Tucson charges your for freight if you special order. Ive luved both my buells but the dealer has a loooong way to go. Tried mounting aftermarket bars on my back and a week later my bike was surging, took it in for help and they said only way to fix bike was put it back to stock, I asked if they could look at it and reroute the cables or do whatever was necessary to make it work, nope, only way is back to stock. Had to order stock bars (sold mine to person on here) and waited almost 2 weeks then get a call, your bike is fixed, and by the way it was a pinched cable.
If you need any help there are a few of us here in town that are happy to help.

I've seen a few Buells other than mine in Tucson, but not many. I'm not fond of the local dealer, and others seem to avoid the service department like the plague.

What Dropnstyle said - order from our sponsors and contact any of us "locals" if you need help.

Run up to Phoenix and check out Arrowhead HD/Buell in Peoria.
They always did me right...
They keep their Buells parked right AT the front doors.

H.D. of Tucson has a pretty fair number of Buells in stock, and they will have no problem selling you one if you ask them to. Just dont expect to get any parts or service from them. They dont stock any Buell parts, and I dont think they have anyone in the service dept. that knows or cares about Buells. Before I bought my Firebolt I heard that the worst thing about owning a Buell was dealing with the Harley dealership. I now understand that statement, they make it very clear that the Buell is the red-headed stepchild of the family.
On the up side, once you buy the bike it doesnt need to spend much time at the dealer. None if you can do your own tps resets, which isnt a factor if you buy an 08.

Chandler HD in Chandler, right off of the 1 10 coming up from Tucson is a pretty big buell dealer. Lot of Buells on the floor.

Seem expensive to me as compared to other shops.

No one can ever beat what Modesto used to be, or what Freemont , Mcguries, and Vallejo Buell dealers now do in Northern California. thanks, REX
