That's a real beauty! Did you just acquire that or have you had it all along? I'm looking for a 70's era project for the empty space in my garage... Aiming for a '76 CB750F1.

I bought it in 81.
Sadly, it has mostly sat in my garage since I got my Buell in 03.

Jack,Don't know if you saw my Buffalo yet but I posted the info here before. I'm in Cleveland, Ohio and had up to 9 GT750's in my garage at one time. Sold em all last year and have this one left. I picked it up at a boneyard. It was running, but it sure wasn't pretty. Now it's got GS mag wheels, Newtronics electronic ignition, Jemco 3 into 3 chambers, new paint job with 74 decals cuz I liked that striping better than the 75. Color red is from a Ford Mustang GT. I have a set of Mikuni 34mm flat slides going on it in the spring. Lots of NOS parts have been put on it. Been piddling around with it for a couple years. These motors are virtually bullet proof if you keep the oil injection on it. Not sure how many miles mine has but they are good for over 100k with regular maintenance. You're close enough for us to get together for a ride next year, what do you say? By the way, join the Yahoo G750 group if you haven't already. Great guys and info on there.

That's a beautiful buffalo.
I haven't run mine in a good while, it needs a new battery and it has an exhaust leak at the pipe to head connection.
The chrome needs some work but the original paint is excellent.
The Windjammer fairing is wonderful, I could ride in the rain and hardly get wet. I used it to get to work year round.
Great handling bike, fun to ride. I could easily make a U turn in the narrow street in front of my house,(see picture)-something not so easy on the Buell.
I planned to use it to ride my wife with me. But, she's had 3 neck surgeries and a lower back surgery, so that's out of the question.
So it just sits there waiting.
I really like the pipes on your bike.
If I ever get the time or energy I'd like to get it back on the road - I let the insurance and plate lapse.

The buffalo was a great alternative to the Kawi's, but they had an issue with electrolisis, since Suzuki used different metals in the engine. If you keep an eye on that then it's a sweet smooth hot-rod...enjoy!

Heres the tear down on the japapolooza bobber/scrambler in the garage, headed to make her done by spring.
