Have a good one mate, mine kicks off this evening with the traditional French Christmas dinner, starting about 9ish on the evening of the 24th & finishing about 3 or 4 in the morning of the 25th.
It takes a bit of stamina to keep up with the in-laws & it's taken me years to get used to it!

Go hard Grumps.

I've spent the last couple of glorious summer days cruising around on this:

That FB has no idea what 'jolly' is :-)

Dave, I just wish I had a bike I could ride at the moment, the cold doesn't bother me too much.
I'll have to get busy in January.

From MSN.con's Santa Tracker:
First Santa sighting — 4:40 a.m. ET

Dec. 24: Auckland, New Zealand — Keen-eyed Santa spotters in New Zealand have provided the first confirmed sighting of Santa Claus as his worldwide journey begins. Auckland is traditionally one of the first cities to spot Santa, as he moves from the North Pole, over Russia and then across the Pacific Ocean.

Dave,

Real nice looking scoot.

What kind of muffler is that?

I have been trying to find a good set of headers that don't compromise ground clearance on my FXDX.

The handle bars look nice too. Bit of a problem changing them on the FXDX because of the Tack/speedo mount.

Best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy Buell Year.

Dave,
How's the weather down there? My in-laws live in Queenstown. Maybe the next time I come over to visit I'll stop by. Great looking scoot. Did you get it at Wood's?

Gentleman_Jon: I do believe that is the stock exhaust system on the FatBob. Great looks!

Have a Happy and Safe Christmas.

Cheers guys

Yeah it's a bone stock Fat Bob - HD's local press fleet. Love the bars and riding position. Superb.

It's been a damp summer so far Budc - rain for Xmas day in the North Island, but it's warm and the showers blow out to sea as fast as they blow in.

Queenstown in 1,000 miles South of me - It's colder - but one of the most spectacularly beautiful places on the planet.

February is the best time of year here.

Have a good day all.

Peace.

Merry Christmas D-D!

What's a typical NZ Christmas tradition? The Aussies do the shrimp on the barbie thing or so I've heard.
Cheers!

Yep.

Kiwis do the Family thing.

Lots of the Maoris head to the beach or park and have a cook out.

We have a group of non-Zealish friends.

Expat Aussies, English, Irish, South African - BBQ at Dave W's. Plenty of booze and giggles and good banter.

Sure - but I think a better resource for work help could be the folks on Kiwi Biker.

www.kiwibiker.co.nz

Very helpful folks.

If you log on over there (in the visitors to NZ section) and ask for a bit of advice on the farm work front - say 'Big Dave' said to do so - and I bet help will be forthcoming.
