8:30am and still no new Buell. :( I even checked the Buell sites for the other countries, no dice.

It's amazing to see how excited we all get just to hear an announcement about a bike that probably won't be at dealers for at least another month.

I don't know about the month thing, spike. I was told saturday, that we're sposed to have a bike shipped today already. That's how the motor company does it too...they have them sitting on the dock with strict instructions not to ship until so and so date. We'll see what happens ;)

It's like Dejavu or something, like there's two or more threads, but the other one has turned into an anonybash, oh well.

On the wait another month to see the real bike bit: I spoke with a dealership person last week and their feeling is that they're still a little bitter at Buell for the XB9 release fiasco. Early announcement + late delivery = many X1's left sitting of the showroom floor. This does not make for a happy dealership, and does not lend to garner favoritism from dealers towards Buells. Whatever they do today, or don't do today, I hope it is with an eye towards building better dealership support of the Buell product line.

That is all. Back to waiting.

The meeting is today and tomorrow I believe. I could be wrong since I clipped two cones and didn't win a trip.

I was told that all dealer show attendees must sign an NDA before entering.

Kinda interesting, though. Seems like the NDA would be difficult to enforce. How would BMC or the mothership actually know who was distributing info?

Doesn't matter. We'll know soon - one way or another. I stick to my guns on no 52" bikes with significantly more power.

Fuel Injected. Don't worry, it took me a minute or so to decipher IMHO, since I have no humble opinions.

at least some of you are at work so you have something to do while you wait...i'm sitting here at home with nothing to do but wait lol. spent all weekend on the bike and had my first spill of the year but not bad so is all good...

an upped power blast would be kinda cool. or maybe a kit to update blasts maybe. as for the xb12 hope it has better power then predictated course if the power is coming in at all the right spots it maybe preatty damn cool. and means xb9r prices should go down more hehe...get one next year if nothing good comes down the line in the mean time.

Sorry to burst anyones bubbles, but if Blast-single cylinder motorcycles- were not allowed to compete for the national Buell BattleTrax series championship then I highly doubt the latested and greatest will be an updated Blast. (or at least it better not be!)

Blastin yeah but there is more to the world of riding Blasts the BattleTrax. I'm sure that there probobly will not be an updated Blast just some more factory go fast stuff for it (like the intake that was seen a few months back).

Besides for the max power on the Blast it will be going to Nallin not anything that comes outa the factory (maybe use the pro pipe and the intake wen it comes out), but all the heavy mods will be done by Nallin at least for my bike.

I'm mostly interested to see what they have instore for the larger bikes for next year. I still want a 9R and if a 12 comes out then hopefully there will be some good used 9Rs out there for sale for cheap.
