Whelp, it's been about 1 year since I scored my Cyclone, and I figured a post was very necessary. I'll keep this mostly pictures, because they're much more interesting.
A bit of info first though:
2000 M2 Cyclone
1 year ago: 15,000 miles
Now: 28,000 miles
Had plenty of small issues, all easily resolved.

Day 1:

Then came winter... Then came
MARCH BADNESS 4
All packed up for my first long ride:

Met up with the one and only WolfRidgeRider, for what would soon become one of the greatest experiences of my life:

This trip included the Dragon:

(Don't worry about the poor riding position shown above, later in this story I'll learn)

At MB4 I got the chance to hang out with so many great people, I learned so much. Not only about riding and Buells, but (more importantly) about gear. Before Badweb I was in the dark. I was unaware of the true importance of gear.
WARNING: This picture may be disturbing to some

I've learned now. I honestly can't say I'm ATGATT. (My work is 6 minutes from home, and I don't wear full gear to get there) But I am much better. Much much much better.

Ok, on with the story.
I made my way through many different states on the few long weekends I had.
New York:

West Virginia:

Michigan:

Made a quick trip to National Trails raceway just kicks:

And then came the big trip. The biggest trip of my life...
Sturgis, South Dakota:

Then came the inside pass track day. What an awesome event.

By the end of this event I had improved my riding skills 10 fold. I have two guys to thank for that:

I think that's about it. In the end, it was 13,000 miles, and 15 states.

I can only hope next year is as good as this past one.

Thanks for everything BADWEB!

I think that more than a couple of people who won't skip Homecoming might also be considered "Different in Every Sense".

just one word "HOMECOMING" the best time of all for motorcycling! It all starts at East Troy, Wisconsin, home of the best American made motorcycles with all of the local dealerships sponsoring events and ends up at Road America for some exciting races. But the best part of all is meeting people who have the real passion for the Buell motorcycles. You just have to be there to truly understand.
