I love the look of the red one.
It reminds me of a car that I was looking to buy in the 60s.
I can't recall the name, but it came with a Ford V8, maybe someone remembers it.

The name of the car just came back to me. I believe it was called a Griffith.

I put those three Griffith pictures under your last post just for you!

The Griffith was an American inspired model. Back in the 60's TVR were exporting Vixen models, usually with Ford or MGA engines, into the US. Jack Griffith was the US importer, and it was he who shoehorned the Ford 427 / 428 engine into the TVR, hence the first TVR Griffith's were born. 165mph no problem, back in the mid sixties was and still is really something.

Early Griffith's are commanding very high prices now. Even more so those with racing pedigree and papers for historic racing.

That also is the Sagaris. Different colour. Different angle. Amazing isn't it.

The vents on the wing tops were functional on the prototypes but were found to pebble dash the windscreen. Production models had the vents left uncut so they remained sealed (out of the mold) but left for visual effect.

Note the high roof on the drivers side (right to you guys). Specifically for helmet use on track days.
