I completely lost my hearing at age 18 back in 1977. (spinal meningitis)I became deaf overnight. Up until then my whole life focused on music and the Beatles were a large part of that. Though I've never "heard" a note of music since that day I still have nearly the complete lyrics to every Beatle song in memory as well as the general tune they were sung to. I'm always singin their songs to myself. Been doing it for 30 years. Can remember quite a bit of Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder and more. Of course it's all 30 years old or more but I thank God for my memory! Otherwise I'd have no music at all in my life right now. | ||

I have been a Beatles fan since I was about 7, my mom turned me on to them. I own every Beatles LP on vynil except Rubber Soul and even have the first pressing of the white album. I was just in Liverpool a few months ago.  This is John's house  Where George was born and raised  Paul's house  Strawberry Fields Forever  Four of Fish and Finger Pies...  Even had a pint in the Cavern  so did Spidey... | ||

I still think the Beatles are the best all-time band, PERIOD!!! there are a lot of good bands out there but there will never be another band like the Beatles! They were so far ahead of their time with their music that they just caught everybody off guard and still nobody has ever caught-up with them! |
