Are "The Wedding Singer" and "Kung Fu Hustle" obscure?

Some newer movies that are pretty good are,
"Highwaymen", with Jim Caviezel and "The Worlds Fastest Indian", which most of you have probably seen.

Ahhhhhhh!

Kung Fu Hustle was brilliant! I got to see it at the theater. It was very cool.

On the other end of the spectrum was Eragon!

I have three buddies who go with me every Friday night to catch a movie. We have since created "The Eragon Scale". Thus far, it's the worst movie created. "Balls of Fury" was the closest to Eragon in suckyness.

So if a movie rates as a plus 1, plus 2, it's only 1 or two steps above Eragon.

From my "weird" period:

Harold and Maude
A boy and his dog

Current favorite:

Breach

Note: Breach is a history/drama and very rare in a movie made in the past 3 decades, shows the FBI from the perspective of agents as real people who give a damn about their agency and the agent who is breaching their own security. Don't wanna give much away but you can google it up

Here's one more

"Knightriders" starring Ed Harris.

I'm starting to think that I'm the only person in the world who actually liked it. : )

Previously mentioned:

- "PI": I'd describe the film, but its nigh impossible

- "A Boy and His Dog" - Don Johnson probably wishes he could make this go away....

- "Memento": Probably my all time fave

Not mentioned yet:

- "Snatch" and "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels": both made by Guy Ritchie prior to his neuterment by Madonna

- Any film by Troma.... "Toxic Avenger", "Class of Nuke 'Em High", etc...

Speaking of Terry Gilliam, has anyone mentioned "Brazil" yet? Greatest ending in all of filmdom. Bummer....
